Free-to-use sports platform
Tornado Play is a free sports utility from DanitzaApps designed to give you all the latest events in the world of professional football. It works as a simple reminder that is regularly updated, allowing you to find the latest events and all the details you need. From the participating teams, the venue, and even the date and time. Additionally, it offers the latest news about the football world.
With a simple layout and a straightforward application, Tornado Play is a simple tool for football fans. However, the entire app is in Spanish and it features a lot of ads.
Receive football updates
Upon opening Tornado Play, you are immediately treated to the news you need. Making it straightforward to use. You only need to open the app and the schedules are all laid out for you. On the top bar, you find the Featured Events section. This often contains the largest or most popular league available for the day, plus a See button to let you check additional details on the event.
While there are instances where the Featured Events section is left empty, the Live Events section is the app’s mainstay. It shows the date and the listed events for the day. Take note, however, that the time schedules included are all in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). There’s no option to set the timezone, so this may come across as confusing for users located in other parts of the world.
Lastly, the app is only available in Spanish, with no support for other languages. Additionally, the app originally intended to link users to various television channels based in Spain. Clicking any of these links leads to a fullscreen ad unskippable for a couple of seconds. Unfortunately, none of these links work anymore, leaving the user on a blank page. There are also a couple of static ads on the homepage.
Minimal football updating tool
The strength of Tornado Play is in its minimalism. You can receive all the info you need as soon as you open the app, leaving you with almost nothing else to do. It lists all the games available for the day, and covers most leagues around the world. Unfortunately, it has since fallen into disrepair since certain features no longer work.
